Less than half of children and young adults treated for anxiety achieve long-term relief according to a new study from Johns Hopkins.

Researchers found only 47 percent of patients treated for three months were free of symptoms six years later.

Nearly 70 percent needed some type of mental health treatment between the initial therapy and the 6 year followup.
