Vitamin D Does Not Help Fight Colds

As cold season gets underway, researchers say don't turn to vitamin D for relief.

New Zealand scientists say it doesn't help fight colds.

They followed 322 adults for more than a year and found no difference between the group that took vitamin D and those who didn't.

The study is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
