Weight Gain Can Lead To Kidney Problems

A new British study finds people who gain excess weight in their 20’s and 30’s are twice as likely to develop chronic kidney disease in their 60’s.

Researchers also found adults who gained weight in their belly and hips in their 40’s and early 50’s were at increased risk for kidney problems.

Doctors say the findings highlight the importance of watching your weight as you get older.
