Doctors say women who've had weight loss surgery should wait a year before trying to get pregnant.

A British study shows there is a higher risk of miscarriage in the first twelve months after bariatric surgery.

In some cases women who got pregnant too soon after a procedure damaged surgical changes made to the stomach.
