What Causes Age-Related Memory Loss?

Researchers in New York have discvoered a major cause of age-related memory loss.

They found that a shortage of a specific protein in part of the brain is key to age-related memory loss.

The doctors say this type of memory loss can be reversed, in mice, through increasing the protein, but they're not sure if it will work in humans.
