What's the Length of the Average Pregnancy?

Researchers now say the average pregnancy may not be 40 weeks.

Doctors at the National Institutes of Health followed more than 125 pregnant women and found the actual average is just over 38 weeks.

Researchers stress this is just an average.

Due dates among the women in the study varied widely, up to five weeks in some cases.
