When to Introduce Solid Foods to Your Baby

Babies who start on solid foods too early or too late may be at higher risk for type one diabetes.

Researchers at the University of Colorado found an increased risk when solids are introduced younger than four months or older than six months.

They say the safest window appears to be between four and five months, while the baby is still being breastfed.
