White Bread Contributing to Obesity

Eating more than two portions of white bread per day increases the risk of being overweight or obese by 40 percent.

That's according to researchers in Spain who followed the diets of more than 9-thousand people for 5 years.

They say there was no significant increase in weight gain among those who ate whole grain breads.
