Why Diabetics Should be Getting MRI's

For people with diabetes, MRI's may be a valuable tool for predicting the risk of heart attack and stroke.

A new study in the journal "Radiology" says whole-body screenings can be a non-invasive way to predict where treatment is needed, without exposing the body to radiation.

Doctors say other imaging tools, like CT scans, are generally limited to cardiac evaluation.
