Your Brain Needs Months to Heal After a Concussion

A new study shows the brains of people who suffer mild concussions need more time to heal even months after symptoms from the concussion have gone away. 

Researchers in New Mexico used special brain scans on 50 people who suffered mild concussions.

They found that while the patients' memory and thinking improved four months later, scans showed abnormalities in the front and sides of their brains.
