What's Right: Frozen Food Program in Montgomery

By Glenn Halbrooks

Thanks to some caring volunteers who share warm hearts and frozen meals, seniors in Montgomery can receive nourishment from the Montgomery Area Council on Aging.

Eligible seniors can get five frozen meals a week. Some of the food is provided by Montgomery restaurants, the rest is cooked by MACOA volunteers, board members or by caring people in their own homes.

To sign up to receive food or to be a volunteer, call the Montgomery Area Council on Aging at (334) 263-0532.
