The Downtown Food Truck is Now Open

The Bullet, a downtown Food Truck on Commerce Street is now open! 

The truck, which is across from the Renaissance Hotel will serve food from the midtown restaurant Shashy's, including the eatery's chicken salads and sandwiches.

It is owned by four friends who have full time jobs, but saw the success of food trucks in other cities and saw the potential for one in Montgomery.

The city doesn't set the operating hours of food trucks, but leaders want The Bullet to have a set schedule so it'll meet the needs of downtown workers.

The truck will stay in front of big businesses in downtown Montgomery by The Renaissance Hotel.
