Marion Municipal Court To Close Soon?

The Perry County City of Marion could soon be without a municipal court.

The city council voted to abolish the city court but didn't follow proper procedure, which voids the vote. Some council members say the court provides important services for citizens.

But others say it needs to be shut down because it's costing the city too much money.
