Alabama News Network Anchor Jamie Langley sits down with a 96 year old
World War II veteran who reflects on Memorial Day.

Kermit Moore from Tallassee lives independently, rides horses and
works in his garden, even at 96 years old.
Moore served in World War II as a T-5 in the Army.  He drove for General William Westmoreland and fought numerous battles including the Battle of the Bulge, Normandy, the Invasion of France and Belgium, North Africa and others.

When asked what Memorial Day is like for him, he says that he focuses on the present instead of dwelling on the past.  Moore says the heartbreaking memories of war cannot be changed.
