CBS 8 News is covering Greenville where the 6th annual community musical is finally here and some familiar faces will take to the stage this weekend.

School children got a sneak peek at "Puttin On The Ritz" Friday morning. This year's theme-- The Magic of Disney.

The show has become a much anticipated event each year, mainly because folks can see everyone from the probate judge to city council members singing and dancing.

Director, Nancy Idland, says the amount of local talent blows her away year after year.

"It's bigger and better than ever and we've got a great cast and they're fabulously talented," says Idland.

"Ms. Bobbie Gamble asked me to be a part of this 6 years ago and now Nancy won't let me quit," says Tommy Ryan.

Tickets are available at the door for the Friday and Saturday night shows. Proceeds go to the Greenville Area Arts Council.
