A baby's body is found in a clarke county woman's garage. Authorities say Chastity Ballinger is charged with Abuse of a Corpse -- and more serious allegations could be on the way pending the result of an autopsy.

Officials believe Ballinger lived in Wilcox County when she had the baby. They say she wrapped it in plastic and put it in a plastic storage bin where it was kept for years. According to investigators, Ballinger moved to Clarke County -- where the bin was recently found by her mother.

"Well, the grandmother happened to be cleaning and came across the corpse," said Wilcox County District Attorney Michael Jackson.

"It's a sad case, a little child dying and again we're waiting for the results of the autopsy and once that's done and if it comes out the way we expect it to, some more serious charges will be filed."
