Anti-abortion activists continue to protest outside abortion clinics in five Alabama cities as part of the forty days of life campaign.

The protests in Montgomery began Wednesday with protesters stationed across from Reproductive Health Services clinic on South Perry street.

They say they will be there twelve hours a day starting at 6AM through November 3rd.

The protesters hope to have some of the same success that previous anti-abortion activists have had in shutting down abortion clinics.

Just last month the Birmingham abortion clinic, once bombed by Eric Rudolph, was closed by the state, and state statistics have shown a 5% decline in abortions from 2011 to 2012.
