Alabama Man Convicted of Abusing Twin Sons
PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Jurors in Prattville have convicted a man of physically abusing his twin sons when they were about 1 year old. An Autauga County jury returned the verdict against 21-year-old Mohamad Osman, who was charged with child abuse. He now faces sentencing on Nov. 8. An investigation began in March 2010 when one of the boys was taken to a hospital with a broken arm just after he had turned 1. Evidence showed that doctors determined the child had seven fractures. A review showed his brother had two broken bones. The mother of the twins, Brittany Osman, also faces charges of child abuse. Her trial date hasn't been set.
