Alabama State University Mourns Two Students
Students and faculty at Alabama State University are mourning the deaths of two students. Several hundred people attended a memorial today for Alexandria Ayers, a senior soccer player, who died on Sunday of Lupus, and Sylvester Moore, who died Monday of a stroke.
The service was presided over by ASU president Gwendolyn Boyd. She said it is important to remember Ayers and Moore, because they were part of the ASU family.
Members of the Hornet soccer team and the soccer coach spoke at the service.
