Montgomery Air Conditioning Businesses Heat UpWe've felt some record breaking temperatures over the last few days, but the extreme heat isn't all bad news. It's paying off for air conditioning repairmen who have seen a spike in business. Mike Kornosky owns K&S Heating and Air Conditioning and says he's gone on 35 calls in the last week and that number continues to rise. The reason for all the service requests, he says, is because of the triple digit heat. These are temperatures he says many cooling systems can't handle if they haven't been maintained. Kornosky says the summer is what people in his business live for. "In the last week to ten days, it's been more than I've seen in quite a few summers," said Kornosky. He says to avoid having your unit go out during a heat wave, it's recommended to get your unit checked in the spring before the hot temperatures hit. |
