Auburn Police Chief Holds News Conference on Search for Leonard
Auburn's Police Chief Tommy Dawson says that there will be no rest until Desmonte Leonard is found and brought to justice for the weekend's Auburn shootings. Chief Dawson's comments are directed toward the future. He says that leonard will be found and he will not rest despite the failed attempt to find the suspect in a Montgomery home last night.
Auburn University is contributing an additional 10 thousand dollars and Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange and the city of montgomery 5 thousand dollars in reward money. That means that there is now a 30 thousand dollar reward offered for the arrest and conviction of Desmonte leonard. Chief Dawson says that the search for leonard has gone on long enough and it's time for justice to be served.
