Body Of Missing Millbrook Man Found
Authorities released autopsy results of a body found Saturday in Autauga County.
Family members say the last time anyone saw Michael Cutcher was Friday June 29th. His truck was found abandoned at the intersection of Highway 31 and County Road 85 in Autauga County. Monday authorities confirmed a body found near that same location is that of Cutcher. Michael Cutcher's boss Mike Goldbaugh says he's stunned by the news of his death. "Extremely shocked I mean other than the fact that I am very happy that they did find him the story just to us is heart throbbing we're a little torn here on what to think or expect now from what we found out," said Goldbaugh. Cutcher's family says volunteer firefighters who were near the intersection of Highway 31 and County Road 85 discovered the body Saturday night. An autopsy performed Monday positively identified the remains as that of the forty-seven year old missing man. Family members agonized for over a week about his disappearance and feared foul play was involved because Cutcher had left his cell phone and other personal items in his abandoned truck and they say he had received a death threat. But authorities say he died of natural causes and no foul play was involved. His co-workers at the trailer park where he worked say he will be greatly missed. "Mike was a great guy, he worked very hard for us he put 12 hours a day out here, on the weekends if we needed him he was there for us.he worked hard for us," said Goldbaugh. Family members are stunned and saddened by Cutchers death but say they are relieved that he has been found. The Autauga County Sheriff's Office assisted Millbrook Police in this investigation.
