Charges Against Man Upgraded to Murder

A man arrested for shooting his roommate in Montgomery is now charged with murder now that the victim has died in the hospital.

Torquez Murray is charged with the murder of Jason Harris.  Harris was shot at his home on Castle Ridge Road on September 30th.

He died yesterday in a hospital from those wounds.

Murray was originally arrested for assault but those charges have been upgraded to murder since the death.
