City of Montgomery Distributes Grant Money to AgenciesThe city of Montgomery is distributing close to a million dollars in grant money to local agencies. One of the agencies receiving the grant assistance is The Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation Center, which gets financial support only from grants. The center will be using the $140,000 it will get to make improvements to the center. Even though the amount being given is about 30 percent less than in previous years, the director of the center says its money that's badly needed.
