Crenshaw County Authorities Investigate Murder-Suicide
Crenshaw county investigators say a murder-suicide took place Saturday afternoon.
The Crenshaw county sheriff says 38-year-old Christopher Allen Phelps shot and killed his 28-year-old girlfriend Laura Jean Drost. He then turned the gun on himself. It happened on South Gravel Hill Road outside of Luverne. Investigators say relatives of Phelps were in the house at the time and heard the couple arguing before they heard gun shots. |
