Dad, Daughter Found Shot to Death in Autauga County Home

Prattville Police are investigating why a father and daughter were discovered shot and killed inside their home.

The bodies of 18-year Allison Kelly and her father, Eddie were discovered by a family friend inside their home on Autauga County Road 10 Thursday night. Neighbors say they were told by police the case is being investigated as a murder-suicide, but Prattville police say they are not confirming that theory.
However, authorities say they are not looking for a killer. "I can only tell you it's a death investigation until we get more results and more facts" said Prattville Police Chief Tim Huggins, "I do not believe there is any threat to residents in the community."

Prattville Police say more details surrounding the deaths will be released after they get the results from the Department of Forensics.
