Deatsville Woman Killed in Car Crash

A Deatsville woman is killed in a car crash in Elmore County.

State Troopers say 42-year-old Kimberly Croft was killed when the car she was driving left the road and overturned.

The accident happened around 9 Wednesday morning on Elmore County Road 257, nine miles north of Wetumpka.

They say Croft was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

She was taken to Elmore Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
