Man Shot to Death in Troy

The Troy Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred this morning in the 400 Block of South Brundidge Street.

 
The Troy Police Department responded to the 400 Block of South Brundidge Street early this morning.
 
Officers arrived on the scene to find a black man shot inside an apartment, and the victim was transported to the Troy Regional Medical Center.
 
The victim would later succumb to his injuries and be pronounced dead at Troy Regional Medical Center.
 
Troy Police Department Detectives say the circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear, but the residents were not home at the time of the shooting.
 
No other injuries are reported with this incident and no suspects are in custody at this time.
