This week, CBS 8 news visits New Life Christian Academy in Elmore County to recognize a special teacher for an outstanding job in the classroom.This week's Golden Apple Teacher is first grade teacher Ava Carter.

 

 

Carter is nominated by a parent, teacher's aid, community member and student who say that she is a highly appreciated and respected teacher.

To mrs carter, teaching is embracing a close net family... Building up future generations and loving her students that she calls her sweeties.
