This week, Alabama News Network visits Bethany Christian Academy in Montgomery to recognize a special teacher for an outstanding job in the classroom.

This week's Golden Apple Award goes to third and fourth grade teacher Reggenia Baskin.

Mrs. Baskin was nominated by multiple students, parents and community members.

With every bright color in the rainbow and smiles for every occasion, Mrs. Baskin ensures her students learn positive life lessons, as well as lessons learned from the books.
