Hoops Event to Help Buy New Playground at Dallas Co. School

The PTO at Brantley Elementary School in Dallas County is trying to buy new playground equipment for the school's 249 students-- and they need your help.

PTO officials say the old wooden equipment is broken and unsafe for children to use.

The group is hosting a comedy basketball show featuring the Harlem Wizards basketball team to raise money to buy new playground equipment.

The event is Tuesday, February 19th at the Martin Middle School gymnasium in Valley Grande. The doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 6:30.
