Katherine Wolf's Successful Surgery Update

An update on Katherine Wolf, daughter-in-law of First Baptist Church of Montgomery Pastor Jay Wolf.

It was April 21, 2008 when Jason and Katherine Wolf's lives changed forever.
26 year old Katherine suffered a massive stroke.

"My son discovered her as she was dying and took her to the hospital and Dr. Gonzalez performed a 16 hour surgery that saved her life," said Pastor Jay Wolf.

Katherine survived the surgery, but doctors didn't have much hope that she would ever walk or talk again.
But again the Katherine defied the odds.
Jay Wolf believes it was the people praying at the hospital and back home in Montgomery that really helped to save her life.

"We began to put into action what Jay preaches about every Sunday. That we have faith and God can do what He says He can do," said Minister of Music, Chip Colee.

Since then, Katherine has learned to walk and talk and even eat.
But October 2010 came another hurdle.
Another aneurism was found behind her eye.
But hope was never lost.
And Monday, her same doctor who performed her surgery 5 and half years ago did this one.

"They plugged it. And so at the end of the surgery he said this precious girl is now aneurism free and AVM free...proceed," said Jay Wolf.

"Definitely an answer to prayer. Wow. What do you say? Amazing," said Colee.

And their story continues.... One of hope and healing.

"She and my son have become this living advertisement for God's victory and help," said Wolf.
