Linden School Board, Superintendent Agree to Part WaysThe Linden city school board and the school superintendent have mutually agreed to part ways. School board president William Curry says the two sides have been negotiating the terms of the agreement for about two months. Curry says Tyrone Smith was given a monetary settlement after serving about two years of a three year contract. "It was a change that all parties agreed was necessary to move the school system forward. This should be in the best interest of the students and all students concerned were put first in this agreement," Curry told CBS 8 News.
