Man Accused of Troy Rapes Makes First Court Appearence

From the CBS 8 Troy Newsroom-- The Troy man charged with raping two women on the same day in the same neighborhood made his first court appearance this morning. Andre Ellis is being charged with rape and burglary charges. Officials say the 35-year-old has not formally entered a plea, and was appointed an attorney. Police say he attacked and raped two women on March 26 in Hunter's Mountain Mobile Estates, which is the same neighborhood he lives in. Ellis is being held without bail in the Pike County Jail.
