Prattville Road Rage Shooting Victim in Serious Condition, Shooter Released

The 27 year old victim of the shooting caused by road rage is still in serious condition, but his health is improving.

Prattville police Chief Mark Thompson says the shooting happened around 3:30 Friday afternoon at Memorial Park.

Thompson says 64 year old David Anderson chased the car of the victim to Green Crest lane and cut him off.

Officers are trying to figure out what led to the chase.

 

Police say Anderson then got out of the vehicle, and started a fight that finished with him shooting the other driver.

He was charged Assault First, but has been released from jail.
