The body of an Autauga County fisherman is discovered 14 days after the search began.

David Taylor went missing on December eighth, after officials say his canoe capsized in a pond off of fulton road in autaugaville.

Officials say state divers found taylor's body in the pond at around 12:30 this afternoon.

At a press conference today Autauga county deputies said divers from more than 10 different agencies searched the scene without finding anything for more than a week.

They say Taylor's truck and tacklebox were found, along with a boot and an upside down canoe in the water.

This week officials say they pumped around 20 million gallons of water out of the area over a span of 50 hours to find the body.

Deputies say the body was Wrapped up in the seaweed about 5 feet under water, and that's why they haven't been able to find him before today.
