Montgomery Police Investigating Multiple Homicides

Montgomery police are investigating two homicide cases.


A convenience store clerk who was shot Tuesday has died. Police have identified him as 43-year old M.B. Manik. It happened on the 1400 block of Mobile Road inside the 4-Way convenience store on Mobile Road.


The victim in a Thursday night shooting on Columbia Avenue and Bellview Road also died this week. He is identified as 20-year-old Demetrius McGhee.


This marks the seventh and eighth homicides of the year for Montgomery.


No arrests have been made in either case. If you have any information regarding the shootings please call crimestoppers at 215-STOP.
