Montgomery Police Make Second Arrest in October Fatal Shooting

Montgomery police make another arrest in a fatal shooting.

Seventeen-year-old Ladarius Frazier of montgomery is charged in connection with the shooting death of 59-year-old John Scroggins and the wounding of a second victim.

Scroggins and another unidentified male were found by police on in the 1600 block of Crouson Street on the night of October 10.

Scroggins was then transported to a montgomery hospital where he later died.

The other victim received non-life threatening injuries.

Frazier has been charged with capitol murder, attempted murder, and robbery.

Nineteen-year-old Jaquincy Croskey of montgomery is facing the same charges in connection with this case.

Police say the shooting stemmed from a possible robbery attempt.
