Montgomery Police Search for Publix Grocery Store Robber

CrimeStoppers needs your help in solving an armed robbery at a Publix grocery store in Montgomery.

Police say at around 7:13 p.m. on Monday, October 7, a man entered the Publix on Vaughn Road dressed in a gray hoodie, blue basketball shorts, white and gray Nike shoes with a black bandanna over his face.

Police say he approached an employee behind the customer service counter armed with an unknown type of handgun. He pointed the gun at him and another employee and stated, "Give it up!"

Police say the robber then placed a back pack on the counter and ordered the employee to place the cash drawer in the back pack. The robber zipped up the bag and walked out of the store.
