Moonshine Still Bust in Northern Pike County

Alabama Beverage Control agents have destroyed an illegal moonshine still in Pike County. According to ABC officials, agents found the still Thursday in some woods near the Stills Crossroads Community.

Lt. Lance Price with ABC tells CBS 8 the 12-barrel still was capable of producing up to $2,500 of illegal whiskey a week. The still was reportedly in a residential area near several homes. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
