New Home Sales Are Bouncing Back in Montgomery Area

“Do to the economic down turn we put everything on hold for a little while,” said Aronov broker Carol Andrews. “We continue to manage it and maintain it, and it's a really beautiful property.”
With more than 40 available lots to build, the development looks more like a large field of grass than neighborhood, but Andrews says that’s all about to change.
“We have had a lot of interest in the area and are currently working with prospects,” Andrews said. “We hope to start construction in here, sometime this year.”

“We're so busy we've actually had to hire additional sales team members and other staff to keep up with it,” said General Manager of The Waters, Jennifer Atkins.
Established in 2004, shortly before Windsor Hill, The Waters says it experienced similar roadblocks with the turn of the economy.
“In 2010, one house sold in The Waters, in 2011, 22 houses, and we've got 27 on the books as of May 10th,” Atkins said. “That tells you where we are and just the growth and how fast it’s coming.”
