DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Federal authorities say a southeast Alabama man is facing charges that he threatened to kill President Barack Obama.

WDHN-TV reports that Deryke Matthew Pfeifer of Ozark is charged with threatening the president in a phone call to the Secret Service and in videos on his Facebook page.

A criminal complaint says a man called a federal office in Michigan last month threatening to kill the president. The Secret Service tracked the number and linked it to a Facebook account.

Police in Ozark arrested Pfeifer without incident. The man allegedly told officers that God was going to destroy Obama and everything around him.

Pfeifer is scheduled to appear in court on July 23.
