Troy police arrest a man for child pornography.

Chief Jimmy Ennis says 37-year-old Douglas Edward Hale has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Troy police was contacted by the FBI after Hale was allegedly inappropiately talking to a young girl out of state.

On top of that, Troy detectives' own investigation led them to search his computer. Police say they found child pornography.

Hale was out on bond relating to a first degree sex abuse charge from last year.

He is being held in Pike County Jail on a $25,000 bond. But a judge may revoke his bond because of the pending sex abuse charge.
