Robots Take Over Brewbaker Tech Magnet High School
This week, we had robot building students on our morning show and today they started competing against other schools.
18 teams of robotics students put their skills to the test at the very first Alabama VEX Robotics competition. More than one hundred leading middle and high school VEX Robotics students and mentors from all around Alabama united at Brew Tech Magnet High School. They competed in a series of back-to-back robot challenges, and by the way, the students designed, built and programmed these robots from the ground up.* The director of the event, Steve Ballard said, "We have 20 virtual robotics teams around the state of alabama coming here on the campus of Brew Tech high in our new gym for the first annual alabama VEX competition. We are proud to have everyone on campus today. I think it's going to be a fast paced competition." This is the world's fastest growing competitive robotics program for grade schools and colleges around the world. Most Viewed
