The Salvation Army says it was a successful 2012 Red Kettle Campaign.
Salvation Army took in about $148,000 during the Red Kettle Campaign in December.
Last year, Salvation Army says they were able to take in about $130,000.
CBS 8 was a proud partner with the campaign this year, with many of our anchors and staff participating as bell ringers.
The Red Kettle campaign is the Salvation Army's biggest yearly fundraiser.
Salvation Army officials say none of what they do would be possible without the generosity of the community.
