Suspect in Carver Shooting Arrested

     Montgomery police have arrested a suspect in a shooting at Carver High School. They say 18 year old James Cannon was taken into custody and is charged with 2nd Degree Assault. He's in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under a $15,000 bond.

     The shooting came during a verbal argument outside the school Thursday evening. A girl was shot in the hand, but police said they did not think she was involved in the fight. Her injuries were not life threatening.
