Three People Killed in Autauga Co. Crashes

Two crashes over the weekend have killed three people.

27-year-old Kimberly Livingston of Prattville and 22-year-old Marquita Speer of Autaugaville were killed when their disabled vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer.

It happened late Sunday night on Interstate 65 northbound at the 189 mile marker.

Two pedestrians that were working on the disabled vehicle were also injured in the crash. Th driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

A second crash in Autauga County claimed the life of a Jonas man.

25-year-old Cornelius Person was killed when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.

The crash occurred on Interstate 65 northbound, five miles north of Prattville.

State Troopers continue to investigate both accidents.
