Three Killed in Alabama Nightclub Shooting

An Alabama county coroner says three people have been shot to death in a nightclub shooting.

 

Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd tells The Associated Press that the three were shot late Thursday night at Teaser's, a nightclub outside Dothan.

 

Byrd says the victims were shot with a handgun, and that they were struck mostly in the abdomen and chest areas. He said the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. after some type of dispute among patrons of the club.

 

The nightclub, in the Wicksburg community just west of Dothan, is about 100 miles southeast of Montgomery.

 

Few other details were immediately available early Friday morning.
