Tim Tebow Coming to Montgomery

Football star Tim Tebow is making a stop in Montgomery.

Tebow will be in town on Friday, March 16th.

He will be a part of a fundraiser for the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama.

The event called "An evening with Tim Tebow" is sponsored by Baptist Health and held at the Montgomery Convention Center.

Last year, the foundation provided over 5 million dollars in services to cancer patients in the area, and officials say this fundraiser will help them serve patients in 2012.

Sarah Spear with the Cancer Wellness Foundation says, "This is a wonderful thing, we were so lucky to be able to ask Tim Tebow to come to Montgomery. He's such an outstanding young man, such a christian man, and we appreciate him coming. So we can present him to Montgomery on such a great cause as the Cancer Wellness Center."
