From the West Alabama Newsroom--   A trailer fire in Wilcox County apparently claims the life of a Camden woman -- and leaves her family looking for answers.

The fire happened early Sunday morning on Morgan Road at a trailer that belonged to the victim's boyfriend.

The remains of 58 year old Patricia Nickelson were found in the debris. Nickelson's family wants to know how her boyfriend was able to get out of the burning trailer -- but she was not.

Nickelson's sister Mable Davis lives across the street from where it happened.

"This young man came just and just like he was going to break my door down. And he told me your sister down there, say call 911, said the house is burning up down there," said Davis.

"My sister didn't deserve to die like that, she never harmed anyone. She's always worked hard and she always loved people," said Geraldine Grace. "Anybody around here will tell you, every time you see Patricia she had smile on her face. She didn't deserve to die like that."

Nickelson's boyfriend has not been identified or arrested by authorities -- but he is being held as a person of interest in the case.
